Visiting the Sea Organ: everything you need to know.
The Zadar Sea Organ is free to visit, with no admission ticket or reservation. This outdoor installation is generally accessible day and night on the old town waterfront. Plan around your route, the weather and your preferred atmosphere, rather than a performance timetable.

Tickets and opening hours
You can experience the organ without booking a tour. The public waterfront has no scheduled musical performances: the water creates the sound. Day and night access may be affected by temporary local restrictions. A paid walking tour, if you choose one, is a separate service and not an entrance requirement.
Getting there on foot
Search for Morske orgulje or Sea Organ, Zadar, on Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV. From the Roman Forum, head towards the Riva and continue along the waterfront to the northwestern tip. Use walking directions from your own starting point; a route through the old town is part of the visit.
Where to park
Public parking around Liburnska obala or Ravnice can be a starting point for a walk. Space availability is not guaranteed. The operator Obala i lučice publishes zones, seasonal tariffs and payment methods. Read the signs at the space you use; an old parking price found online may no longer apply.
Wheelchairs, pushchairs and the steps
The tourist board identifies the upper edge as accessible, while the lower Sea Organ levels cannot be reached independently by wheelchair. You can listen from the promenade without descending. Ask the tourist board about a suitable approach if step-free access is essential, and allow more time when the waterfront is busy.
What to bring and how long to stay
We suggest 20–30 minutes for listening, with more time for an evening walk. Bring water and sun protection in warm weather and a layer for a breezy evening. Keep children close beside the unguarded water, and choose a dry, comfortable place to pause rather than moving onto wet lower steps.
